Some CLI Commands

1. Factory reset:
   • execute factoryreset
     
2. Maintenance Access:
   • user: maintainer
   • pass: bcpb<serial_number>
     
3. Password reset:
   • #config system <yourUser>
   • #edit admin
   • #set password <yourPassword>
     • or, for admin:
       • set accprofile “super_admin”
       • set vdom “root”
       • set password <yourPassword>
   • #end
4. Connecting to a Fortinet WebClient:
   • Set client PC to DHCP
   • Connect the client pc to a normal switch port
   • Connect the default gateway to the Wan1 port
   • Open a CMD/terminal emulator on the client PC
   • >tracert 8.8.8.8
   • The first hop is the Fortinet switch WEB GUI
